archival Mounting

Mounting is the cornerstone of our production services at Mount Brooklyn. We offer a wide range of substrates and process options to transform your prints from works on paper to beautifully displayed pieces. Along with all traditional mounting materials available, we also offer glass mounting, plexiglass ranging up to 4” for face mounting, spot mounting, specialized braces, multi-panel seaming, museum box construction, and much more. Customization is our strength when it comes to this aspect of art production: we thrive on working with clients’ ideas and enhancing them into fully realized unique pieces.

fine art photographic printing

We use only the best equipment, supplies, and materials to offer high-quality, archival, professional printing. We currently offer digital pigment printing and digital chromogenic printing. We work very closely with clients throughout the proofing and printing processes to make sure all final prints meet their exact desired results.

CUSTOM LASER AND ROUTER CUTTING

Our laser cutting services are available for plexiglass up to 26 x 39” in size and ¼” in thickness. Laser cutting is the most exact way to fabricate custom shapes out of acrylic sheets. Router cutting is available as well at Mount Brooklyn via a CNC (computer numerical control) machine and can accommodate larger sizes and a variety of materials.

framing

All of our frames are made with the utmost care and attention to ensure that they do their job of securely protecting the artwork they contain while also looking great on a wall. We always deliver clean cuts and lines, smooth finishes, and especially strong joints in every framework we produce.

Crating

Our padded crates can be fabricated to accommodate artwork of any size and shape. We provide durable plywood exteriors in combination with amply padded interiors to ensure any pieces within are fully protected. Whether for shipping internationally or storing long-term locally, crating artwork with us is the best way to keep fragile works and materials safe and intact after leaving our studio.

PICK-UP/Delivery

We offer delivery and pick-up options for artwork transportation anywhere within New York City and nearby. Using our trained art handlers ensures that all work transported by us is treated with special care. From trucking large framed works to messengering quickly needed proofs, our team gets the job done on time and with clear communication between all parties involved.
